Cookie policy
1. In short
Spin Shadow Pro deliberately keeps trackers to a strict minimum. No audience-measurement or advertising cookie is placed without your consent.
The site works fully even if you refuse everything.
2. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website. Local storage (localStorage) is a related technology: information kept by your browser, on your device only, without being automatically transmitted to our servers.
3. Functional storage (exempt from consent)
These items are strictly necessary for the operation of the site and do not require consent:
- ssp-lang (local storage) — remembers the language you selected. Kept until you delete it.
- ssp-consent (local storage) — records your cookie choice (acceptance or refusal). Kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again.
4. Audience measurement (subject to your consent)
If you accept audience measurement via the banner, the following cookies may be placed by Google Analytics 4:
- _ga — distinguishes visitors pseudonymously. Duration: 13 months.
- _ga_<id> — maintains measurement session state. Duration: 13 months.
Purpose: traffic and usage statistics (page views, journeys, performance) to improve the platform. IP addresses are anonymised.
This data may be processed by Google, including outside the European Union; such transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses. Learn more: Google's cookie policy.
If audience measurement is not active on the site, none of these cookies are placed — even if you accept.
5. Advertising (subject to your consent)
If you accept via the banner, the following cookies may be placed by Google Ads:
- _gcl_au — links a visit to an ad you clicked, in order to measure conversions. Duration: 90 days.
- Cookies set by the googleadservices.com and doubleclick.net domains — conversion measurement and personalised ad delivery.
Purpose: assessing the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and, where applicable, showing you relevant ads across Google partner services.
We apply Google's consent mode: until you accept, these cookies are blocked and Google receives only anonymous signals, with no identifier written to your device.
If no advertising campaign is running, none of these cookies are placed — even if you accept.
6. Managing your choice
On your first visit (whenever consent-based trackers are active), a banner lets you accept or refuse — both options are equivalent, and your choice is kept for 6 months.
- Withdraw or change your choice at any time: use the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer.
- Through your browser: you can delete existing cookies and local storage and block them from being set (see your browser's help).
Refusing audience-measurement and advertising cookies does not degrade your experience in any way.
7. Contact and updates
This policy may be updated, in particular if the tools we use change. The applicable version is the one published on this page.
